Shifted the bed and pulled up the rug today. I believe this rug was here for many years, as it was well stuck in many pots to the floor, and covered in.... life less clean.
I purchased cleaning supplies today, so I was prepared and ready to attack.
The affect above happened across the floor under the bed to the headboard.
Wrapped the carper up in plastic, and with Jason's assistance, we hauled it out to the front porch. There was also a ice cream bucket full of a liquid under the bed. That now resides on the porch as well, to hopefully freeze.
This cabinet is floating on three legs. It's twisting float has realigned it over the many years, and I may need a good carpenter to repair. The three legs are the far left front, and the two in back. it leans to the back left corner.
On the plus side. the two caster wheels that were missing and causing it to lean, were inside the cabinet, so it may be able to be made correct. These are still in the top left drawer.
With some elbow grease, and a lot more elbow grease and more elbow grease scrubbing, the computer corner is now much cleaner.
Interesting note, one of the drawers was filled with loose candies, when I went to toss them, I realized that one was actually a marble. a tensey. Was that like russian roulette for your teeth, or what?
